Considered the the best summer league in Rochester for the past 28 years, the S.I.R elite summer league is a great tune up league for the season used by the areas top high school , junior , and college players. Also the areas pro players have participated in this league setting up a fun competitive atmosphere.

The League is designed for hockey players 15 years old and older. We allow full checking, but have rules in place to keep cheap play to a minimum. This allows each player to play and have fun in a competitive league while enjoying them selves also.

S.I.R. accepts both individual and team applications during registration. Team Rosters must have a minimum of 12 skaters and a goaltender for league play. We reserve the right to place players on teams under the minimum number of players.

If all the the league teams have the minimum number of players , we reserve the right to place players evenly throughout the league. The maximum numbe rof rostered players is 16.

League Highlites

1. 2 practices the weekend of July 12^th and 13^th . On the ice with another team , no officials. Full gear manditory for all on ice sessions including facial protection and snapable chin straps.

2. 10 regular season games, plus playoffs

3. League jerseys provided.

4. All games Mon-Thurs 6:30, 8, and 9:30 times.

5. 2 games per week , any of those times and days.

League Rules

1. 3 - 14 minute stop time periods

2. All Players must be paid in full.

3. Full Cage required for players under the age 18 , ½ shield minimum for all others.

4. No alcohol or Tobacco products in the building!

5. Any fighting, spearing, butt ending or intent to injure will result in a 3 game suspension on 1^st offense and league removal on 2 nd offense, no refund.

6. NCAA hockey rule book with varations 1.5 min minors, 4 min majors, 7.5 min. misconducts.
