Our Rink


Built in 1955, this rink has been meticulously maintained and updated by Al and Stiffy for as long as we can remember.  They're careful to keep the ice at the optimum thickness and temperature, while carefully grooming the ice to make it the best in town. 

Despite the rinks age, Al and Stiffy keep up with the latest technology.  Currently (2008) SIR is the only rink in Rochester with an electric zamboni.  Besides being energy efficient, the zamboni does not emit any exhaust into the rink.  The zamboni's battery pack is pictured on the right and the zamboni is pictured below.


















Of course parents and siblings need something to do while they wait for the skaters.  A snackbar and game area are both available to pass the time.
